Dr. Lily Cahnman
I am a licensed clinical psychologist based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I specialize in providing individual and couple therapy to young adults and working professionals. I value providing treatment for individuals with a range of psychological and psychiatric concerns from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of religious, cultural, sexual, and gender identities.
My areas of specialty include: Relationship concerns, depression, anxiety, stress, grief and bereavement, hair pulling/skin picking concerns, trauma, existential, religious, and spiritual concerns, career concerns, identity development, self-compassion, multicultural issues, and life transition concerns. I also specialize in working with individuals who identify as "highly sensitive people."
I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.) from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. I earned my Masters of Arts (M.A.) and Doctor of Psychology Degrees (Psy.D.) from the APA-accredited Clinical Psychology program at Roosevelt University in Chicago. I also completed my APA-accredited predoctoral internship training at the University of Illinois at Chicago's Counseling Center.
