I work primarily through an emotion focused lens in therapy, integrating mindfulness and body-centered approaches to treatment. Together we will build an environment in which you feel heard and understood and collaboratively develop a pace and goals that fit your unique needs.
Therapy is often an unfolding process, and it is entirely okay and expected that you will not have a map at first for understanding yourself or where to begin. That is where I will encourage your exploration of present thoughts, feelings, and physical cues. By speaking to your experiences during session you can develop greater awareness and understanding of yourself and your relationships with others. Through fostering greater knowledge, appreciation, and acceptance of yourself and your experiences you will become better equipped to create meaningful and sustainable growth and change in your life.
